Shopping legal cannabis in Ontario

HighQ is a recreational retailer. This page is the short version of what we tell people at the counter: how to spot an authorized shop, what ID we need, and where the official rules live. It is not medical advice.

The Ontario seal

Authorized cannabis stores must display the official Ontario Cannabis Retail Seal. The image cannot be altered. You should see it at the door and on this website. If a site selling cannabis does not show the seal, treat that as a warning and check the AGCO list before you buy.

Our CRSA numbers

Each authorized store has a Cannabis Retail Store Authorization number. HighQ Thamesford is CRSA1194735. HighQ Ingersoll is CRSA1239196. The operator is 2769120 Ontario Limited.

Age and identification

You must be 19 or older to buy recreational cannabis in Ontario. Bring valid government-issued photo ID. We may ask anyone who appears under 25. HighQ will not complete a sale without proper identification when it is required — including Click & Collect pickup.

What we will not say

Staff can help you read a label, compare formats, and understand store policy. We will not diagnose a condition, recommend cannabis as treatment, or make claims about curing or preventing disease. For health questions, speak with a qualified health professional and use Health Canada’s public information.

Reading a package

Legal packages list THC and CBD amounts, the producer, and lot information. Those numbers describe the product, not a medical dose. Indica, sativa, and hybrid are informal retail labels — ask a budtender what they mean on a given jar, not what they will do for a health condition.

Where the product comes from

Every gram on a HighQ shelf arrived through the Ontario Cannabis Store, the province’s exclusive wholesaler. That is the legal supply chain for authorized private stores. Selection rotates as new lots land.
